Thai nationalistic "yellow-shirts" plan to march their protesters to certain government premises on Friday in an effort to pressure the government to step down, a core group leader said on Sunday.

"On Friday, the 11th of February, we will march to call for the government to better protect our territory," core leader Chamlong Srimuang told reporters.

Chamlong said the "yellow-shirts", also known as the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), will start its marching at 9.00 am, but did not disclose its destination.

PAD protesters have been occupying a strip of the historical Ratchadamneng Road since Jan. 25 in demanding the government of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to get tougher in its dealing with Cambodia on the two countries' border disputes.

Key government premises nearby include the Government House, Parliament House, some ministry compounds and military headquarters.

The PAD has now also called for Abhisit and his entire cabinet ministers to resign.
